After receiving your equipment, you must do a cleaning run on it to completely clean out the inside of all parts of the unit. We recommend one of two ways to do this.
1) White vinegar - Fill unit 2/3 full with undiluted white vinegar and run the unit as you would with mash. once distillate has been coming out of the worm for 10 minutes, turn off heat, let cool, and rinse out with water. Dry unit and store away.
2) Sugar wash - Ferment white sugar and water in the desired amount. Once fermented, run through the unit. Run it as a normal mash run. When done, throw out collected distillate, and whatever is left in the pot. Rinse with water, dry, and store away
